Translator
In addition to woodcarving and historical research, I also work as a translator, translating from English and German into Czech (and vice versa). I obtained a master’s degree from Masaryk University in English Language Translation, and I am also confident in my German thanks to several years of my PhD studies at the University of Munich. I focus primarily on texts in the humanities, but also on marketing and tourism texts. However, I am not afraid of more technical translations either. I also do subtitling.
In addition to translation, I also offer proofreading and editing services. I have experience in editing scientific and popular texts, as well as proofreading university theses for grammar, style, and content.
If you are interested in translation, proofreading, or any other form of cooperation, please do not hesitate to contact me at miky.netik@seznam.cz.
